About
A small practice for reading how accounts actually behave
Apps in the Cloud started from repeated product-team frustration: dashboards full of charts that still could not answer whether onboarding delivered first value, or which habits predicted return.
Mission
We help product and growth teams in Korea and remote-first companies interpret application analytics with clear definitions — especially around onboarding activation, engagement return, and expansion inside existing accounts.
Origin
The practice took shape in Gyeongsangbuk-do after years of sitting beside teams who inherited event catalogs from earlier contractors. The work that stuck was never a new chart library; it was agreeing on what “activated,” “engaged,” and “expanded” meant, then proving those definitions against real account paths.
How we work
Engagements are project-based assessments. We read your events, reconstruct the path that matters for the question at hand, and write findings you can hand to engineering and product without another translation layer. We do not sell monitoring seats or white-label dashboards.
Values
- Definitions before decoration — agree on the action before debating the chart.
- Evidence from account paths, not only aggregate percentages.
- Honest scope — we say when instrumentation is too weak for a conclusion.
- English-language delivery with Korea Standard Time scheduling.
People
Assessments are led by analysts who have spent time inside product organizations — not as a software vendor, but as reviewers who must defend findings to skeptical stakeholders. When a project needs deeper engineering context, we bring a tracking specialist into the kickoff and audit stages.
